As I complete the clinical component of my Master’s degree in counselling, I am offering sessions at a reduced rate (2025-2026).

While counselling is not covered by Medicare, I am committed to making counselling as accessible as possible. If you have a current GP Mental Health Care Plan or hold a Centrelink Low Income Health Care Card, you are eligible for a 25% reduced fee. This reduction is intended to ensure that financial hardship is not a barrier to receiving support. In line with the way Medicare rebates operate, this concession can be applied for up to 6–10 sessions per year, depending on your circumstances.

I understand that life can sometimes be unpredictable, and there may be times when you need to reschedule or cancel a session. If this happens, I ask that you give at least 48 hours’ notice so I can offer the appointment time to someone else who may be waiting for support.

Because your appointment time is reserved especially for you, cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will incur the full session fee. This policy helps me keep sessions sustainable and ensures that I can be available for all clients who need support.
